Zach Schwarze is a student in the M.A. program in the Department of Religion at Rice University. He earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Houston in 2020. His primary research interests include visionary experiences realized through meditation, contemplation, dreams, etc. In terms of time and place, he is interested in the contributions of visionary experiences to currents in 20th and 21st century religious thought in the United States. He is especially interested in the expression of these currents via creative work, particularly visual art and poetry.
