I am a fourth year Ph.D. candidate who works with Dr. John Stroup and Dr. Jeff Kripal. My research focuses on the methods of control Protestantism created during the Reformation to manage and mitigate the influence of virtuosos after the deconstruction of the monastery system. I am also interested in how these sociological innovations were carried forward by later Protestant movements such as Methodism, Evangelicalism, and Pentecostalism. I am currently working on three certificates CSWGS, 3CT, and GEM.
